Give the kids hot dogs! Offer a side of dog/cat crackers.

Make a Giant Dog Bone Cake. Bake four cupcakes and one rectangular loaf cake. Set two cupcakes at each end of the rectangle cake to make a bone shape. Frost with white frosting and dot with black wafer candies.

Serve the food in dog dishes.

Pass out favors related to the theme, such as bone-shaped cookies, small Dalmatian figures or inexpensive picture books featuring the Dalmatians.

Give the kids gifts for their dogs, such as dog shampoos, dog dishes, leashes, collars and dog tags.
