Be "Danger Ranger" Ready!

Animated, Action-Adventure Characters Empower Kids to Think Safe, Play Safe and Be Safe With 10 Important Summer Safety Tips

Pages:  1  2  3

June is National Safety Month and the "Danger Rangers" are educating children and their parents on how to have fun and be safe this summer.

Howard Kazanjian, the producer behind Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Steven Rockefeller, a business and corporate philanthropy leader, have come together with children's safety experts to launch The Danger Rangers – a revolutionary children's entertainment production that uses a group of animated, action-adventure characters to empower children in a positive and entertaining way. It's an iParenting Media Award winner!

10 Tips to be Danger Ranger Ready This Summer:

Water Safety
When near water, children should always be supervised by an adult and always wear a life jacket on boats or near large bodies of water.

Automobile Safety
When the car is parked in the garage or driveway, always keep the car doors locked. Once young children crawl into the car, they lack the developmental capability to get out and can succumb to the heat.

Hydration Safety
Before prolonged activity, children should drink plenty of fluids and continue drinking periodically, even if the child does not feel thirsty. For example, a child weighing 88 pounds should drink 5 ounces of tap water or flavored sports drink every 20 minutes.
