Sweet-on-you Crafts
Kid-friendly Valentine Magic By Kymberly Pratt
Here's what you do:
Lay the shower curtain out on the driveway, or on a surface covered with protective paper. (Tip: It's a good idea to lay the shower curtain out a few days ahead of time to get rid of the folds.)
Now comes the fun part! Let your child decorate the shower curtain with the paint. He can make up his own designs, stamp with sponge shapes, color in heart shapes you have already made or add his own handprints. Allow his finished masterpiece to dry completely, then hang. A decorative ribbon could also be threaded through the holes to add even more flair.
You'll need:
Red and pink play dough
Pencil
String
Pipe cleaners
Wax paper
Here's what you do:
Show your child how to make heart shapes and any other shape they like out of the play dough. Help him poke a hole at the top of the shape with the pencil. Let the shapes dry completely. When dry, thread the string or a pipe cleaner through the hole to make a necklace or a bracelet.
