Cha Cha Changes

June 22, 2006

Summer seems to be going by so fast. I couldn't believe I was seeing fireworks out until I realized just when the fourth of July is. I was just thinking about all the changes in my life right now. First I realized that the "pill" was making feel aggressive. Not toward the girls but to other people. Then so I decided to quit and I have to say I can tell the difference. Little things that would have me screaming makes me laugh. It I so freeing. Of course we had to find other non medical forms of protection because as much as I love the girls I can honestly say they are it for me. The second changes have been that I have been finding myself wanting a little more with a job. I love working as the nursery coordinator but to be honest except for Sunday's I really don't do much except make schedules and purchase supplies. I was thinking about the hospital since my CAN certification is about to expire when I noticed an add in the church bulletin the former Preschool teacher for the 3's is leaving and I really want her job. It is two days of teaching a week in which Emmy will need a babysitter since she is 6 months too young the rest of the time when I am working in the room she can be with me. I have already found a babysitter too so I am excited. I really hope I will get the job. I'll know more middle to end of July. I have high standards for a job. I want something either part time or very flexible so I can still spend time with the girls. This is on the county school calendar so when Abbey is out of school so will I. Speaking of Abbey she has wanted to be a blond for as long as I can remember. I know it is young but from the time she could tell me she has said she wanted to change her hair color. I can relate I wanted to be a blond in grade school and a red head from high school on. So I bought some Sun In and have made her hair a strawberry blond. She loves it. I hope this gets it out of her system and we can go back to brown hair. Guess that is about all with us. We are planning on having a yard sale this weekend and next if it doesn't rain. We haven't been very successful with yard sales in the past even though neighbors have told me they have made several hundred dollars. If this try doesn't work I will just donate my crap in the future.
