jobs
August 21, 2006
Well I had a meeting with the staff at the preschool I was going to be assisting at and it turns out they have more 3's than expected and I will be getting my own room after all. So it works out well. The new addition to the building is almost ready. They have been moving stuff into their rooms already but I have no idea what to do. I have to leave stuff in the old room to use for Sunday school. I am happy that I will be teaching but really nervous about what I will be doing.
My sister got the job she had applied for as a bailiff. She is excited about that. She said they are ordering her a uniform and making her badge as I type. She is still going to try to get a job here so we can see each other a lot but she is going to keep the bailiff job until something opens up. We keep hearing that if we are patient after the elections there may be openings somewhere in the courthouse. This is a funny job for her because we have an uncle and his children that are always in trouble so she will be seeing a lot of them. I am afraid that she is too nice for the job but she is excited and I am totally happy for her. Our uncle use to be a deputy in the same county and he was tickled when he found out about the job.
My husband has to travel to New Jersey for his job. He is a Chemist and he is flying to another one of their companies to learn a new test so he can come back and teach his co- workers. I was really pleased that he was chosen to go but I will miss him.
Abbey has her first ball game in two weeks. She is starting to get nervous about it. I am making her a cute bag for her poms, tennis shoes and warm up pants.
