Happy Anniversary to me

October 22, 2006

Today is my anniversary. We really aren't celebrating today. Abbey spent the night with a friend a couple of nights ago and we celebrated then we went out for Chinese and had a movie date at the house. Really laid back but nice. I am so happy that he is alive to celebrate this anniversary with me. I hope that we will have many more together. Abbey and I had fall break this week. I spend the week babysitting for her friend and moving boxes into the storage room at the Church Preschool. Abbey had her first sleepover guest and her first sleepover this week. Her friend spent the 13th with us. It was fun they stayed up late watching TV and giggling. Then She spent this Friday at the friend's house. Some conversations overheard this week from the girls. Abbey said, My grandma buys me clothes that are too cute to wear like this outfit" and The girls were under a Dora tent talking one girl said "so what do we do and the other said lets talk about boys and the first said Ok like why are they so darned cute." We got a new TV for the den Emmy was asleep when we moved it in when she walked downstairs and saw it she said "OMG that is a big TV." That was just some of the funny things that happened this week. I have been busy trying to get Christmas under control. I like to make a lot of the little presents I give but this year I found some main presents that I had to make mostly for my sister who will love everything I got. I found a really good sale at Garden Ridge and then found some things at a pottery store. I am one of those odd people that like to be finished with Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving that way I can avoid the crowds and the grumpy people looking for last minute presents. The girls are doing very well. Abbey still loves school and she still brings home a steady stream of a+. She still reads me a story every night and I read one to her. Emmy still amazes me. I wish I could bring her to preschool with me. She would love it. Maybe after Christmas I can talk them into letting me bring her full time. Really things here have been boring.
