10-30-06 – Almost Halloween
October 30, 2006
Today I go in for my first appointment. I'm looking forward to it since they canceled it last Friday. The lady was sick and her secretary called me to say my appointment was cancelled. I was a bit bummed. So, if anything exciting happens I'll keep you updated. Tomorrow I'll be 7 weeks. I feel great – amazingly.
We have gone to tons of Halloween/Fall parties already. The school had a Fall Festival. We've gone trunk or treating twice this weekend. We went to Boo at the zoo. We had two birthday parties this week and last weekend we drive to Georgetown, KY to see family and my in-laws who were visiting. There was a pumpkin patch down the road with lots of fun things to do. It was a cold day but I got that out of the way. I made the 3 muskateer costumes. I made Ron the 3rd one. They are pretty good – but were very hard.
Halloween is tomorrow and I'm excited for it. I think G's excited they will be having a party at school and he's Star Student. I am going to drop off cupcakes and cookies and Halloween peeps. I plan to show up around 2 after my meeting to finish participating in the party. Then we will rush home to get our Halloween stuff ready and head up to mom's house. James, my brother, has a party each year.
Wednesday we leave for Orlando. We initially were planning on going to Las Vegas for Mjo's 50th birthday but after all the stuff that happened, the whole thing was cancelled. I'm still not talking to her and neither are a few other family members. She's crazy. She did call me the other day and left a message on my cell phone. She said she was going to call me every day until I answered – and she never called again. It doesn't surprise me. She's ADHD and has a tendency to not tell the truth. She's too high strung for me. Anyway, instead of Las Vegas we are taking the boys to Orlando. Ron's mother is up for an award and his parent's will be there for a conference. We decided to go down there to see them and have a little fun. We are staying at The Wilderness Lodge cabins. We plan to go to Epcot on Friday and also fit in Sea World and the beach. If I can convince Ron we'll go to Universal Studios too. We return on the Tuesday the 17th.
