Rain, rain go away...

July 8, 2006

Haven't been doing too much lately. It's been raining here almost every day for over a week, maybe two.

We had a nice July 4th. Family came over and we hung out at the house. The kids had a good time playing with water balloons -- so did the adults.

Ashlee's been lost this week because her boyfriend, Nick, is in New Orleans, and Josh is in California. Well, the timing is strange, but I guess Josh is back since he just walked through out front door. Very weird timing. Anyway, she's been going to the mall a lot and just hanging out with her friends.

Michael hasn't been doing too much. Going to friend's houses sometimes and spending a lot of time on the computer and watching ESPN.

Katie's rarely home. She's been spending a lot of time with Shaina. She's just a social butterfly. Always doing something. Her birthday is coming up on August 14. She'll be 9. So I guess we'll be planning another party soon.

I haven't been spending enough time with my kids lately. It seems like I rarely see them, even though I am upstairs working. We are planning an overnight trip to Austin the week after next, so that will be very nice. I am really looking forward to it.

Me? Been working a lot, which I am not complaining about. I thank god every day for the privledge of being able to work from home. I have to be in court Thursday again. Actually, I have to be in two courts almost at the same time and I'm not sure how that's going to work. Not looking forward to it.

Well, I'll update again very soon if we don't get washed away first.
