Someone informed they keep checking my diaries and no updates. Ok, so here is my updates. Haha!
Well what have we been up to?...trying to recall. Last time we stopped off it was Silver Dollar City, White Water and such. Well we got to visit with my brother in law, sister and law and my sweet niece. We will be going to see them one more time in August before the move to Germany. My niece didn't really know what to think of me at first. She hasn't seen me in about 9 months or so, and is only 2. But we had time to reunit. I took lots of pictures of her and the boys. She is now asking where "aunt chrissy" is. She says she wants to see me. Awww! I miss her so. The fourth of July was a great holiday for us, the whole family got along, no fights, no tension at all. It was great.
About 3 weeks ago we went to my friend Heathers to visit and let the boys all play together. I got to see her pictures of Israel. AWESOME pictures! I want to visit there someday. Then 2 Saturdays ago we decided to go do some photography at my grandmothers place. There is an awesome old cabin there. We of course had to walk out into a field to get to it. I started taking pictures, at the same time Heather asks me if that was a bull in the field with us. I paid no attention to what was in the field, I replied "I don't know!" I got done and Heather started taking pictures. I look up and there he was!!! A big Angus Bull, raising his head and looking right at us!!!! We ran through the thigh high grass, past the gate, locked the gate and got the heck outta dodge!!! A moment to remember, that's for sure! We took more pictures of other things, including some old barns, milk barns, all in black and white. It should be awesome to see, as soon as we get our film back. I also done some of the boys out at my moms, of Heather, and colored ones of my mom beautiful flowers.
On to Austin, he is doing good. School soon will be here. We went and done some school shopping last weekend with Jen D., her kids, my kids and Don. We had fun, I think. ;-)
We ended up staying overnight in branson. The kids were really good that day. Don made a deal with the 3 older kids that if they opened the doors at the stores for Jen and I that they would all get some money when we got back to the hotel. Boy that went over well. They all did really well and were rewarded with cash in the end. We stayed at the hotel that Jen's parents manage and Jen and I took the older ones swimming that night. It was a good visit. Austin had fun playing with some old friends. Old? haha. Some friends, Jen's kids, he hasn't seen in a few years.
Next week I think we may take the boys to the county fair. It is one of the bigger ones around us. We haven't been in years so it may be good to take the kids and end the summer with some family fun. Afterwards mommy is going shopping for Austin some school clothes, supplies, and my cruise clothes.
