Well the year is coming to an end. Was it good to me and my family? YES! Oh some much has gone on in our little family of 4. But I can say I am truly blessed by my children and husband. Our Christmas went over well. Even though we had over 14 inches of snow with some ice we managed to have a great Christmas with all the family. Since we couldn't go to my parents they brought Christmas to us. Well Christmas dinner and the gifts for the kids, along with our gifts. My dad was determined to see ALL his grandkids open their gifts. And that he did. It was such a joy to watch Austin and Noah open gifts. Austin really liked his spiderman stuff, his new playstation game, and his scooters. I think in between riding scooters, playing sypro (the playstation game) and having fun playing with Noah and all their new stuff, I would say the scooter is one of his top 5 favorite toys. He is getting pictures done tomorrow and we are going to take one of the scooters in as a prop. Austin likes that idea! We had a great dinner with my family on Christmas, and Austin loved playing with his cousins. Then we went to my in laws and they had more gifts for the boys. I think they hit the mother load this year. And I am still trying to figure out where to put it all! I think one cool thing Austin got was the portable basketball goal. We put it together tonight. Now just have to air up the ball.
Austin is still wanting to go to school with mommy. That is just so cute to me. Though I can't take him, we told him that he could go with daddy one night to pick me up. He loved that idea! Austin has finally gotten over the major part of his sinus infection. Thank goodness. He poor eyes looked so awful. But now I think he just has a cold.
Next month the boys get their wooden bunks beds, with new bedding. We are going to do their room in a sports theme, since Austin is really into all the sports. He even wants to watch football on tv. Shocked me! I was never, and niether was Don, into watching sports on tv. So seeing Austin get so into it is amazing.
Well all in all things have went really well this year. Austin started school, got the scooter he wanted, mommy has went back to school, we become a closer and closer nit family everyday. And watching my boys grow up and play so well together, for the most part, makes me happy. I am glad Austin has a sibling to grow up with. I can't wait to share his 6 year pictures with everyone. I am sure they will turn out great. He is so photogenic! My opinion of course. But hey I think both my boys are smart, talented good looking kids.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
