I taught Katie to ride her bike Saturday. And that’s all I have to say. ;-)
Seriously, I could end the entry here and be happy. She was so upset that she didn’t know how to ride. She mentioned this when I picked her up from her slumber party Saturday morning. So, after Michael’s Destination Imagination tournament, we hit the streets. And, she rode her bike home all by herself – with me jogging breathlessly beside her.
She had a busy weekend. A slumber party with a trip to glamour girls Friday night, and then she went with Shaina to Chi’s house Saturday night and all day Sunday, which included a trip to the science and butterfly museum. She was very tired when she got home.
Michael has started baseball practice. It seems like he’s on a very good team. He’s a Yankee this year.
Since the last entry, Ashlee has broken up with her boyfriend and has a new one that lives in Canada. He went to her school until recently, and is supposed to move back this summer. But right now, he is the perfect boyfriend. He’s in Canada! ;-)
The kids got report cards on Friday. Michael got almost all As. He blames the one B he got on his handwriting. Ashlee did OK – As, Bs and Cs. She needs to study more. Katie got all As.
Until next time.
