I miss summer. We’re now back to running from volleyball practice to baseball practice to karate to Girl Scouts to… Sigh. The freezer is now stocked with frozen foods because I’m finding it harder and harder to make dinner lately. Who wants a bean and cheese burrito? Eggroll?
Ashlee’s volleyball team is on a streak – unfortunately it’s a losing streak. They’ve played six games – and lost all six. Hopefully they can break that streak this Saturday. Michael’s first baseball game is this Saturday. He’s doing so well!
Reports came out yesterday. Michael did awesome! All As. He did, however, get an “N” in handwriting. It’s so bad. At the parent-teacher conference last week his teacher talked to me about it. Ms. Howard and I think he must be destined to be a doctor. ;-) Katie did awesome too. She won’t get her first “real” report card until next six weeks. For some reason there was a problem with the junior high report cards, so Ashlee hasn’t brought hers home yet. I’m sure she did great too.
We’ve had a new addition to the family since my last post. Willie, who is a 4-month-old quaker. Everyone thinks he’s pretty neat. Sandra and I went together to buy birds together a couple weeks ago. She picked a girl – Roxanne. We’ve gotten them together for playdates a couple times. Yes, we know we probably need counseling or intense therapy. ;-)
Until next time.
