Quick update…
Michael’s baseball team came in second place. They won their first playoff game Tuesday, 10 to 1. Michael pitched the last inning to bring home the win. They play their second tonight, and if they win, they’ll play in the championship game on Saturday.
Ashlee’s last volleyball game is Saturday. This will be her last game in the children league. She’ll have to move up to the teen volleyball league now. I think she’ll enjoy that a lot better.
The kids had a nice Halloween. Michael was a dead, frozen vampire. Katie was a witch. Ashlee was “gothic.” We went trick-or-treating until about 8, then went to Café Del Sol to get a bite to eat and listen to the band. It was about 7:45 when I told Katie we needed to head home. She said, no, and was about to throw a fit when I reminded her where we were going. She got so excited, looked at Shaina and said, “We need to get home NOW! We’re going to dance at Del Sol!” LOL And boy did she. It was almost 11:00 when we left, and she danced almost non-stop.
Ashlee gets her spacers in on Monday. Her next appointment is the following Monday, which, I assume, is when they’ll put on her braces. Maybe not. But we are on our way to straight teeth – finally.
Until next time.
