I know it’s too soon to post another entry, but I had to write tonight about Michael’s incredible playoff game tonight. They won – dramatically! I was sure we were going to lose. I’m not being negative, it’s just the way the game was going. Michael was up to bat, two outs, the winning run on third base. One more out and we have to play a sixth inning. Michael has two strikes. (He had batted in the tying run in the previous inning.) I guess Coach Steve noticed that the pitcher was not paying attention, so he sent the runner on third to steal home! And he was safe! It was so cool! So, we play in the championship game on Saturday. Now, I’m going to bed and will add to and post this entry after we win on Saturday…

Michael’s team came in second place, but it was a very exciting game. They played over 2 ½ hours. Extra innings. They were ahead from the second inning on, until the other team scored the winning run in the bottom of the last inning.
On Tuesday, my grandma had a heart attack and possibly a stroke. She was in a coma and on life support, and we were told on Wednesday that she had a 1 in 100 chance of getting any better, and that she had brain trauma over 100 percent of her brain. Well, she is proving the doctors wrong so far. She is awake, will answer when asked a question (most of the time), is off the ventilator, and had a permanent pacemaker put in today. We are all praying she keeps on improving.
We got some bad news tonight, however, about one of her sisters. Aunt Dukie, the oldest sister, passed away tonight. She choked on a carrot and they could not revive her in time. Very sad. She was in her early 90s.
That’s all for now. Hopefully I’ll have a happier entry next time.
Until next time.
