Benjamin lost his FIRST tooth last week! I admit, I was a little grossed out, so Andrew stepped in to help. It was quite a big deal in our house, though. After his tooth finally came out, he was just beaming! So I told him that maybe if he put the tooth under his pillow that he might find a surprise under there in the morning. Well, Christopher pipes up and says, “Yeah, the Dentist will come and give you money!” There may have been a little confusion between the dentist and the tooth fairy, but it was absolutely hilarious! Ben promptly asks me to call his Nanny (my MIL) so he can tell her about his tooth. We dialed her number and he just about burst to tell her his news! He was grinning from ear to ear, seriously! So, that is our big news of the week.
Last night, was definitely a night that will go down in Missouri history. We had some horrible storms blow through due to unusually warm weather. Three tornadoes (about F2-F3 in size) touched down in 2 different cities in Missouri around 10:30PM. Two people were killed and many homes were destroyed. It was quite horrible and VERY strange. I am sure there will probably be one or two more storms before the weather turns really cold again.
