Hello!
(Please excuse any errors in this entry. My computer crashed and we had to upgrade to XP and I lost pretty much everything in Word, such as my templates...This was to be just a quickie entry anyway.)
Right now, I am smack dab in the middle of planning a BIG birthday bash for the boys. Their birthdays are the 26th and 30th of May, not necessarily in that order. LOL
I have planned the party for this coming Saturday, the 29th to make it fair. It's a lot harder and more expensive to do two seperate parties, and I really just thought this would be MORE fun! :)
The boys are SO THRILLED that we are doing this. It has been a long time since we've thrown them a party. I decided a couple of weeks ago that, what the hey (!), I'd just invite everyone from each of their classes and make this party as simple as possible. A family member has decided to purchase the cake for us as a gift so that we could special order one. (They've never had anything like that either!) The theme will be Spongebob, in order to be inclusive for the boys AND the girls. The cake will be a 1/2 sheet, which will be totally yellow with a hat on the top, SBs face in the middle, as well as arms and legs. TOO CUTE!!! I have purchased some small novelty prizes from a cheap webiste for the party bags. I bought a few SB decorations to do in the dining room. Other than that, it will be simple stuff.
The boys are getting brand new bikes and they don't know it yet! I told them one day last week that I had a secret and they were just dying with anticipation. (I know, I'm cruel!) They will be getting them on Saturday just before the party!
Well, that's all for now. Wish me luck. I will be entertaining anywhere from 20-40 kids for two hours all by myself!!! ACK!! It will be so worth it in the end though.
After the party, I'll update to tell how it went.
