Well, Chris got "the talk" from Andrew over the weekend. He was caught in the backyard, pulling his pants down for the girl next door, who is five. OMG! I just about died. When my neighbor came over to tell me, I was in the middle of gardening and so I yelled into the house that Andrew might be interested in talking to Chris to find out what he was doing in the back. I went back outside but had to come back in for something and heard Andrew yelling "Now would be a GREAT time for you to pull your pants down" at Chris as he shooed him into the bedroom. I couldn't help but laugh! Both kids were in big trouble and are grounded from playing with each other for a few days, but I did make sure that Andrew talked to Chris to explain WHY this was such a big issue. Andrew assured me that he did and that Chris "understood". It was quite funny but I really hope it doesn't happen much more, especially with our neighbors. How embarrassing!
All is well with us. I've been working hard and the surgeon is back from his medical mission trip in Africa so the clinic has been especially busy in the last few days. He did bring me something nice which I thought was VERY sweet of him. It was a nice gesture on his part and made me feel very appreciated.
I've been trying to get the kids to the pool as much as possible. They love to swim and I love being in the water. It has been so hot that we have to be careful not to be out too long during the day. I just don't want to be burned like I was two weekends ago. It was awful!!!
Well, that's about all for now. Until next time,
Heather, Ben, & Chris
