Jenna's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
July 19, 2002
After 2 weeks of summer break, Kirk is back in school. He's a second grader. His teacher, Ms. Martin, is so nice. So far, I love her. Kirk does, too.
Kirk spent a week and a half in Georgia visiting all the grandparents. He stayed with my parents. One day he went with Wes' parents to visit Kirk's great grandmother. While my mom and dad were both at work, Kirk stayed with my dad's parents and he spent a weekend in Nashville visiting my mom's parents. After being with that many grandparents, he came home a little spoiled.
Actually, my parents flew back with Kirk on July 4th. What you may not know is that LAX was shut down for a few hours that day because of a shooting at the ticket counter of an Israeli airline. Kirk's plane was allowed to land, but they were held in it for about 30 min before they were allowed to exit. They spent the next hour and a half in the terminal. It was a fun day.
