I must say, we are very glad that spring is almost here. Tyler and I are trying be active now that it's getting warmer out. We are rollerblading and bike riding now. He is pretty scarey on his bike sometimes. He seems to have a little bit of trouble steering and keeping to the side of the road. It's going to give me a nervous breakdown just watching him and telling him to get out of the middle of the road. I know he knows that he could get hit by a car, but I'm not really sure if he thinks anything will happen to him if he did get hit. I'll just have to keep repeating myself until he understands. I can deal with that but I know it will drive him nuts.
Right now Tyler is into having friends over. Everyday, after school he asks if he can have a friend over. EVERDAY!!! I'm tired of going to school to pick him up because I know if he doesn't ask me one of his friends will. One of his friends wanted to trade places with Tyler and live at our house for a while. I thought that was sweet, but it also made me wonder what it was like at his house, I do know that his parents are divorced so maybe that's it. I do let Tyler have friends over but not everyday, although there is a little boy down the street who invites himself over. I don't mind though, and most of the time Tyler likes to play with him, but that doesn't seem to count as having a friend over! Isn't that funny.
We babysat my nephew on Friday night. That was rough. I'm not used to having a little one around anymore, or getting up at 7 am!! I have always been lucky with Tyler. He loves his sleep as much as I do. I decided when he went home that I wasn't going to have any more children. I was wiped right out when he left. I don't ever remember being that tired when Tyler was little. Tyler would be a great big brother though. He was very helpful when I needed him, or when Caleb was getting into his toys.
Well that's about all for now!!
Take Care
Jo and Tyler
