Jo's Diary Entries

March 11, 2001

Well another quite week has flown by!! Tyler had a sleep over at his Aunties house on Friday night. He loves going there. He doesn't go there for the night because I ask her to take him, she just calls and asks if he can come. It's nice that they have that kind of relationship. She came over about 4 and took him for the night. It made for a very long night for me, let me tell you!! I was just beside myself. I didn't know what to do with myself!! I had no computer because we crashed and no Tyler!!! I stayed in bed and watched TV all night! haha

Tyler got his report card on Friday. It was very good!! There are a few things we need to work on, like sitting still!! He can not sit still. Even when I was talking to him about sitting still and listening to the teacher, he was up and down and twisting and turning! It was frustrating!! We need to work on the right way to make some of his letters and numbers too. We talked about that the other day to and he said he wants to play so he is in a rush to get his work done. I told him we are going to work on it after school so don't ask if you can have a friend over!! The teacher said Tyler has an excellent math mind!!!!! Numbers come very easily to him! I'm so proud!!

We had a birthday party today for one of his classmates. So at noon today we had to go birthday shopping for a present!! Tyler just wants to buy the biggest and most expensive toy in the store!! Then he likes to ask if he can have it for himself and get something else for the party!!! haha I don't think so!! He does try though!

Anyway that has been our week!! One more week of school and then we are off for two weeks for spring break. Should be interesting!!

Take Care
Jo and Tyler!
