Well I thought it was time for an update on my boy. We have had a busy month since I last wrote. I think I am finally back into my routine at work, and I hope to start writing every week again.
Spring break was very busy. Friends here, or the boy there, and a birthday party. The birthday party was fun for Tyler. They went bowling and he did pretty good. He loves to do things like that! He always has to be so busy. Wonder where he gets that from!!? I guess he wants to be like his mommy.
We went laser bowling the other night as well. I found it quite difficult to bowl in the dark. It was fun though and Tyler got to stay up until way past his bed time. He loves that.
Yesterday was Easter and the Easter bunny was very generous. He started out with a trail of little easter eggs that started from his bedroom and went on through the whole house. Not fun for me when I stepped on them. He was left batteries for his game boy and way to much chocolate. The favorite was the pokemon game boy game. What a nice Easter present, it was just what he wanted, how did he know!! It must be a very smart bunny to know which one to bring. Tyler decided that he was very lucky that he didn't buy it the day before or he would have had 2. I thought that was very cute! After that I had to go to work, but the family came up to my work for Easter brunch! I thought that was very nice of them so I bought them brunch. It's nice to be the boss!!
After brunch we went golfing. Boy Tyler is doing very well. He was really wacking the ball. I asked if he'd like lessons and he thought about it and then said he'd try it! So I'll have to check into that because it's starts at age 8! I'm sure I'll be alright, I have a little bit of pull at the golf course. He made some comment on being Tiger Woods. I don't think he even knows who that is.
Well my boy can be the sweetest boy at times. It was my birthday on the weekend and well lets just say I took the big 3 0 pretty hard. I wasn't all to happy about being 30. Tyler, my sweet little boy told me that he would love me no matter how old I am!! That just made my day! Sometimes the things he says just blows me away. Children are very smart, and sometimes when you least expect it, they show it! I think I'm pretty lucky to have a great boy, or I just must be an awesome mom and raising a great boy!!
Well that is my enty. I will try not to take so long next time.
Take care,
Jo and Tyler
