Auntie Connie came for a visit. She flew in on Monday and left on Sunday the 27. Tyler had so much fun with her. She is just great with kids and she always knows exactly what to say and when to say it! I think Tyler was just a bit spoiled by her this week, but I guess that's allowed because he doesn't get to see her much.
They spent quite a lot of time together, the two of them. They would sit on the floor for hours, I was told and played marbles, and read stories and just played around. It was great, that meant the world to Tyler. I don't think he'll ever forget the attention she payed to him.
Auntie Connie and Tyler had a sleep over together at Grama and Grampas house. He was so excited about that. Tyler said to his Dad that it wasn't much of a sleepover if he was going to hang around all night!! He wanted Auntie Connie all to himself. So they slept in the spare room together at Gramas house. Auntie Connie told Tyler a story about Prince Tyler. She made it up for a bedtime story. I tried and tried to get Tyler to tell me what it was about, but no! He wouldn't tell me. I think that's something that will be just between him and his aunt! I think that's so sweet! I do know that the story was about Princess O'beautiful and Prince Tyler, and they lived happily ever after. Tyler wasn't into sharing the details of who the princess was! I have a few in mind though!!! Hey Tyler the one that starts with a Z!!
Tyler took is Auntie to family fun night at school! I'm not sure what he wanted to show off more, his school or Auntie Connie! They all had a great time! I missed it of course because of work!!
The week flew by way to fast, and now we are all trying to catch up on some much needed sleep! We were all sad to see Auntie Connie leave. Tyler was very sad to see her go, and he made sure she came by in the morning before she left for the airport. Now we are planning for out trip to her house in August or so. Tyler can't wait to get there! That will be another entry!!
