Happy New Year Everyone!
Dean had a great holiday season, only one major meltdown (while Grandparents were visiting) and we took care of that pretty quickly. I never got mad or raised my voice. Dave even came in to "tag out" as we call it-where the other takes over during tantrums, but I didn't need to at that time.
I am, however, tired of hearing "it's too hard" when it comes to cleaning his room.
I told him that I would have to take ALL of his toys away, than it wouldn't be so hard....well, he's at least trying.
Potty Training with Christopher is not going to well. We have been working on it for 3 months, and still no Poo-Poo in the potty, adn peeing is random at best. His temper is kicking in, too. "NO" is his favorite word right now, but he is much easier to handle than Dean was at that age.
Otherwise, they are good. They have been playing together well, albeit loudly with lots of boo-boos from falling while running all over the house. Dean has a good routine in the morning of fixing breakfast fom himself and his brother. he even tries to coach Christopher to do it-such a leader!
Talk to everyone later. Next week it's back to school...so have a safe new year!
