Home again, home again, jiggety jig.
Hello to everyone. Well, updating on the road really didn't work out like I had hoped, so here I am now. We had a WONDERFUL honeymoon (well, mostly wonderful). We left on the 5th as planned and spent 1 1/2 weeks camping in the mountains of Utah in a teepee, yes, a teepee. It was very cold at night, seeing our elevation was between 8000-10,000 feet, but it really was a cool experience. We also camped on Antelope Island for 2 nights and slept next to buffalo in the next campsite over. Antelope Island is on the Salt Lake. It was neat too. We then drove down to Vegas, spent two fun-filled, crazy, hectic days down there and left with only losing about 15 bucks, so we managed pretty well. I was very happy about that. We left Vegas this past Sunday and took the very scenic route to Portland, by way of the Lewis and Clark route along the Columbia River. That was a beautiful drive. We even slept in the car one night because we were too cheap to pay for another hotel room for the night since it was after 10 when we stopped for rest and we had less than 6 hours to make it to Larry and Melissa's house. I have already gotten a job working for a real estate agency (never done it before, but hell, why not) and I'll do that until something better comes along. I'm not putting all my egggs in one basket. We have also found a nice apartment for now and will be moving there in a couple of weeks. Well, time is short and I will update again soon when I get a chance. Take care to all!
Rachel :)
