Well, last week was report cards!! I have to say, I was pleased. Cory has
made improvements across the board. (Except in ART, he got below average
mark in Art. How do you bad in Art, I asked? By not finishing your
projects, I was told) But his reading, his math, his science, all of it has
improved. And I met with his teacher and she said he seems to be focusing
on his work more and fooling around less. So that was good to hear. It was
also a relief, I was kind of worried about how he was doing.
He's still continuing on with his martial arts, hap-ki-do. He came home
last night and said that his instructor Bobby told them that if you do
something bad you have to tell the truth and if you tell the truth you will
not get into as much trouble as you would if you lie. Well, I've been
telling him that for years!! And now Bobby says it once and Cory's quoting
him! I mean, it's good that he listen, actually, he really listen to what
Instructor Bobby says, he takes it seriously. I kind of wish Cory would
listen to me with that much intensity. But as long he's getting this
positive influence...
That's all that's new for now. Talk to you soon!
