What a week. And I thought I was tired out from all that driving and
running around, Friday night, around 9:00 p.m. Cory fell asleep
watching TV. This from the boy who would stay up until midnight if we
let him. He was pretty exhausted. Only eight more weeks. On Saturday
he tests for his yellow belt. He's very excited and nervous. So we
could be adding on another night of driving. It wouldn't be so bad
except the last two nights at soccer it was freezing!!!! And Tony's
out of town all next week and most of the week after so that leaves
all the driving to me. I'm hoping my mom or sister will come to some
of his games, it makes it a little easier.
But he seems to be doing well in soccer. He's enthusiastic and really
tries to get the ball. (He really wants to score a goal) And he seems
to be getting along well with the other boys. I'm a little
disappointed in the coaching, it's more unstructured than I would
prefer. But we're 1-1, so no need to worry.
Cory got his allowance and made his first purchase -- a wallet. He's
pretty proud of it. This week Tony's taking him to the bank to open
his savings account.
Aside from the constant running around and school starting to wind
up, not much else to report.
Talk to you soon.
