Suzi's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
February 16, 2000
Friday Nick had a "luncheon date" at his friend Hannah's. They share the
same birthday. Her mom had Nick and two other kids from their acrobat class
over for lunch and cake so it was a double date, LOL! Nick wore a sport
coat and tie ... he looked so grown up. I even stopped and got a carnation
w/ baby's breath for him to take her.
Of course, Monday the boys overindulged in sugar ... both came home from
school with bags of candy and treats. Matthew is looking forward to the
rest of this week. Tomorrow night, the Cub Scouts tour McDonald's. Then, he
doesn't have to go to school till next Tuesday -- we haven't had any snow
cancellations, so they still get a winter break over Presidents' Day this
year.
Yesterday we moved Samuel from his bassinet into the crib! They grow up so
quickly! I can't believe he's 8 weeks old already. Till next time!
It's been a relatively calm week here. Hope everyone had a nice Valentine's
Day. We went out Saturday night with all the kids, my grandma, parents, and
Mike's dad and step mom. We had had family portraits taken in the afternoon
and everyone was dressed plus it was Nick's birthday. Sam slept through the
picture and dinner which was great. Nick got mostly NASCAR-themed gifts
plus a Pokemon shirt. In addition, the in-laws are taking him and Matthew
to see Toy Story 2 on Ice in two weeks. Maybe Mike and I can sneak off by
ourselves to dinner and a movie that night.
