Suzi's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

This week we enjoyed a lot of family time. No major excursions or events, just a lot of "together." The weather has been unseasonably warm so the boys have been outside a lot. Both swingset and bikes are getting use.Matthew is obsessed with words and trivia lately. He's gotten 100 percent on all his spelling tests in the past month, plus the past two weeks he's also gotten extra credit words. Like the rest of the country he seems mesmerized by "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" on TV. The other night he said, "Mom why don't you get on the show and win money for a new house?" ... OK, so at least I know where that came from. I've been obsessed with floor plans lately, dreaming of a time when we can build on our property.
Nicholas spent time with both great grandparents on Mike's side of the family this weekend. While we were visiting great grandpa I got some good multi-generational photos with Nick and Sam in them. I've made it a point to take photos with them as my great grandmother was buried the week before I was born. I really need to do more of this for Sam though, as I haven't got any that came out with the other two greats yet.
Both the older boys helped Mike fix the brake system on my vehicle last
night. They both got to pump the pedal while he bled the air from the new
lines. Today they are both feeling oh-so-grown-up and were arguing on the
way to school over who helped more!
