his car off at garage for new exhaust system work tomorrow) Pack his
stuff into car.
8:20-Stop at friends to show off engine Mike built for my SUV (laying
on of the hands of sorts as friend is old time engine pro from racing
days)
9PM-Pick Nick up at Grandma's, head home
9:20-bathe 3 kids and head them to bed
9:25-load truck for tomorrow, unload necessary stuff from SUV
9:40-on phone with FIL, problem with mulch he got ... smoking, burned

7AM-Mike's left for work with Sue's SUV
7:10-Pap Pap picks up still sleepy Nick for day of riding shotgun
(with truckload of the hot mulch I might add)
7:30-Nonni picks up Sam for day with her
7:55-Into truck with Matt. Today is school carnival for end of year.
PTO sponsors -- I'm chair for the spin art booth. Was actually a good
day to have to switch vehicles.
8AM-arrive at school just up street. Discover the delivery truck from
Rental Center driven by summer help ran into low clearance canopy of
bus loading area
8:15-9:30-Set up and psych up for 480 kids armed with spinning paint!
11:40- OK, I've survived half of it ... I've got blisters on my feet
and change into tennies (I'd worn rubber sandals figuring I could
hose any paint off!) I join Matt for lunch with the first grade. The
food is edible but definitely kid fare -- bland, no spices. Matt
takes one bite of pizza and cup of blue jello plus two french fries,
his friend Kati runs by and accidentally spills his milk, he growls
but won't touch mine as it's not chocolate.
2:30- the end of the herd is through now just the clean up is left
4:45- head to pick up Sam
5:15-Nick is returned home ... my feet hurt, my knee is paining me
... can I sit down??? Nope, baby needs fed, bathe kids early as Matt
is wiped out

track for $3
9:30-Get stroller and Sam out of SUV. Darn!@#$ Notice poison ivy
around my ankles as I unload stroller. BS for a couple hours as this
game is Matt's team vs/ the other from the neighborhood
12:15-Ball game over, reload ... head to Nonni's as Matt promised to
"help" Pap fix lawn tractor
12:30-Good thing Nonni keeps industrial strength poison ivy
remover...I lather the stuff on then grab a sandwich
2PM- Go to store w/ Nonni and Sam looking for favors for a bridal
shower for my cousin

is stopping back with his muscle car to take him cruising
6PM- I finally convince him to call the garage and home. Mike's there
waiting for Matt's help washing the car then cruise
8PM-Sam's already asleep so I miss out on the cruise
10PM- I hear the guys plus SIL, BIL and niece all had fun cruising
while I did laundry and cooked
Sunday:
I feed Sam early then craw back in bed and have the luxury of
sleeping till 8AM.
9AM-After everyone is up and moving I make a sausage breakfast, Matt
makes the toast. Do some more laundry and odds 'n ends
11:15-Pack up my vehicle with Nick and Sam. Head to rehearsal/run
through for Nick's recital
12-4PM-rehearsal, at which I do the line up and generally assist by
herding the mass of 3-15yr old dancers and gymnasts. Pulling out of
lot I come to the stop sign at the same time Nonni and Matt are
heading thru as they return fm trip to see "Dinosaur" at the theater.
We follow them back to her house, wolf down roast beef, potatoes and
beans. (Roast was in crock pot during all this- we cross fingers that
it's ok...) Then we drop Matt and Nick at home. Mom and I then run to
BigK. We have a one-day only coupon for employee's families.
7PM -back home, Matt, Nick and friend are just leaving with Mike to
take muscle car back to storage garage
9PM-Baths then BED!!!
Tomorrow it's another baseball game, dance rehearsal and Matt's
awards day at school
