Julie's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
November 29, 2002
Hi all,
Ahh, the holiday season is here. Every year I promise I'll start decorating early but I usually wait until the last minute. This year I'm hoping for a happy medium. Not so much guilt and a little more pleasure.
Yesterday, we went to my Sister inlaws for Thanksgiving. It was a huge feast for four big and three little people. I've been eating turkey left overs all day. Tracy, my sis in law, has an awesome nice house so our kids play all the time and we hardly see them. I'd given Sophie zyrtec before we left, for her allergies, it worked really well. Usually she walks around doped up on benadryl so it was a nice treat to have her awake.
Craig had gotten some nice beaujolais to go with the turkey and I made sweet potatoes for the first time. Its a good thing they are cheap to make because nobody ate them but me. Whatever:)
Unfortunately, I had to work today. Not for very long thankfully but I still didn't get any housework done. Lazy Julie watched "please don't eat the daisies" and "a christmas story" followed by "witness".
Sophie and Natalie were invited to a neighbor friends house for a while this afternoon. Honestly, they receive a few too many invitations lately. Its seems they won't go anywhere for a while and then its sleepover requests galore! I really don't feel comfortable with the whole sleepover thing. I just don't like it. Both neighbors want the girls to sleepover but ...whats a Mom to do.
Later!
Julie Sophie and Natalie
